Crash. The world around me crumbles when I get released from Bradford City FC at the ripe old age of 18... Or does it? I figure it's not all too bad as the PFA fund my University fees. I study for three years and qualify as a Physiotherapist. Time goes fast when you're having fun. At 21 I move to London and work as a private MSK Physiotherapist, before going on to work for Fulham FC. I then spent time working for Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to gain experience in Community Rehabilitation. I relocate back to the North gaining even more experience when running a Rehab Unit in Leeds. I take a turn away from physical health and decide to further my skills working within Mental Health Services as the Senior Physiotherapist. I set up Falls Prevention services and by now I’m getting the hang of it. I feel well established. Everything makes sense now. The roots are firmly in place. I worked so hard for so long, so I decide to take some time out and travel the world. I experienced the most amazing places and opportunities along my journey. I ended up playing Soccer down under for one of the best seasons in my football career to date! But, I miss being a full time physio. I realise it's my true passion. So I decide to return to the UK and hit the ground running... and become a father. Not once, but three times. Its time to decide where I want to specialise. I decide MSK is where my passion is so I get my head buried back into academia and complete a MSc module in Injection therapy and complete the First Contact Practitioner MSc equivalent qualification. I finally realise my dream could actually become a reality and I set up my own private clinic, pursuing what led me to become a Physio in the first place. My love for keeping fit and healthy, to be the best version of myself, and all importantly encouraging others to do the same!
This is the reason I am here doing what I do now...
You're here. Exactly where you should be. Now, I look to the future and see my path colliding with yours. I'm here to help. I'm here to push you to your next level physically and mentally. The question is, are you ready?
Look after your body. It will look after you. It's as simple as that. Exercise is medicine. Go and get your daily dosage before the GP has to start issuing meds that control your blood pressure, cholesterol and insulin levels.
